The Emmy-nominated series “Dexter,” a drama about forensic detective
Dexter Morgan, who also happens to be a serial killer, returned for its
third season Sept. 28th on Showtime. Joining David Zayas and Lauren Velez in their crime fighting efforts is
Jimmy Smits, who’ll play Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado. Also
joining the cast will be Valerie Cruz and Jesse
Borrego in a multi-episode role.

Thomas Dekker is hoping to learn how to fly. The "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star is in negotiations to play one of the leads in the remake of the 1980s musical "Fame," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Dekker is eyeing the role of Marco, a kid from a blue-collar background who has the desire and talent to act, but needs to beat out several thousand others to prove himself in a New York high school for the arts. Other characters in the school include a slam poet, a sheltered pianist, a salsa musician, an aspiring filmmaker and a shapely dancer.
The Public Theater and Joe’s Pub announce additions to the extraordinary lineup of the Joe’s Pub 10th Anniversary Weekend featuring 10 for the 10th, a two-day series of 10 free concerts at Joe’s Pub, and an anniversary Gala paying tribute to legendary musician, champion of emerging artists, and New Yorker Judy Collins.

The Original Cast of THE WHO'S TOMMY will be reuniting for a 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert on Monday night, December 15th, 2008 at 8:00 pm at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).
Appearing will be original cast members: Michael Arnold, Anthony Barrile, Bill Buell, Maria Calabrese, Michael Cerveris, Tracy Nicole Chapman, Paul Dobie, Jonathan Dokuchitz, Tom Flynn, Cheryl Freeman (Fame on 42nd Street), Jody Gelb, Christian Hoff, Paul Kandel, Donnie Kehr, Pam Klinger, Lisa Leguillou, Norm Lewis, Michael McElroy, Marcia Mitzman, Lee Morgan, Alice Ripley, Sherie Rene Scott and Timothy Warmen.
Tickets will range from $52 to $502 (including a $2 facility fee) and more information will be available shortly on www.rockersonbroadway.com and www.thepathfund.com. The concert will benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS and the Broadway Dreams Foundation.

Jesse Borrego has now been added to the list of celebrities participating in The Hollywood Collectors & Celebrities Show. With the addition of Jesse, this makes 4 members of the cast of Fame scheduled to attend. The others, are Nia Peeples, Cynthia Gibb and Dick Miller.

Hayek, actor Tony Plana and celebrity stylist Irma Martinez among others. In addition to celebrities and designers of Hispanic origin, earlier this
year Target partnered with Debbie Allen, Kwaku Alston, Irene Hirano, Iman,
John Legend, Holly Robinson Peete, Joy Gryson and Sylvia Woods to share their
Dream in Color stories.
