Actors Megan Mullally, Kelsey Grammer, Charles S. Dutton, Bebe Neuwirth and Debbie Allen have been tenured. The quintet has been chosen for administrative and teaching roles in the remake of "Fame."

Mullally will play a voice instructor.
Grammer will play an orchestra conductor.
Dutton will play an acting teacher.
Neuwirth will play a dance teacher.
Allen will play Principal Simms.

Some of you may remember that Bebe Neuwirth played a dancer teacher in an episode of the Fame TV series so I am excited to see her back in this as a dancer teacher.

Production on the movie begins this Wednesday.

Back in June I told you all about a Fame special in the works in the UK. Well, I finally have some information ... and pictures about the show to share with you all.
Although I had two people tell me two different air dates, I will post both below and when I can confirm the exact date, I will update the information.

Possible Airdates:  Dec 24th, 9pm, Channel 4
                            Dec 27th, 9pm, Channel 4

Andy, a visitor to the site, emailed me to let me know that if you go to iTunes and do a search for William Goldstein you will find the instrumental music that William wrote for use on the Fame TV Series. I don't have iTunes so I was unable to find it but for those that do, you might like to have a look and listen. :)

The all-black Broadway production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, in which Debbie Allen directed, is now headed overseas to London and Debbie will be directing that production as well. Also from the original cast to travel to England for the production are James Earl Jones and Debbie Allen's sister Phylicia Rashad.

Happy Birthday to Eric Pierpoint who celebrates his birthday today, November 18th!

As I previously posted, Jesse Borrego is going to have a recurring role on this season of Dexter. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information about when his episodes were going to air. I found out that Jesse has already appeared on the show. This past weekends episode features him, for sure. Other than that, I'm afraid I don't know about any others just yet.

This past Sunday's episode (titled The Damage a Man Can Do) will repeat a number of times this week. For a listing of days and times, check Zap 2 It.

Today is the 5th anniversary of Gene Anthony Ray's passing. We miss you Gene!
